After a 3 day stop in Mindelo ,Cape verde we were all set to leave for Grenada. Unfortunately the fuel dock had other plans. There was an electrical short somewhere in the system and we waited for 30 hours as they tried to find where it was located. So we left monday afternoon for the caribbean.We had strong winds and a bit of a confused sea as a two swells collided. After a couple of days the swell started to come around to the aft and there was a more gentle roll to the boat.
Carried extra fuel on board. We could of made it with the fuel we had in the tanks on board but we wanted to get the fuel out of the jerry cans and even out the weight.
